But what if it works out?

On the eve of the Sendmeillgo online store launch — the final day of my Daniel fast — I’m sitting in my office reflecting on every obstacle that tried to stand between me and this moment. And honestly, I can’t help but see myself in the story of God’s people.

Just like the Israelites, who watched God split seas and still wrestled with doubt…

Just like Peter, who stepped out on the water but sank when the wind rose…

I’ve seen God show up again and again, yet every new challenge tried to make me forget what He already proved.

But then the Holy Spirit whispers:

What if it actually works out?

Better yet — what if you believed it will?

Because God has already spoken concerning our future. Jeremiah 29:11 declares, “For I know the plans I have for you… plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

And Jesus Himself adds in John 15:7, “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.”

This is why we meditate on the Word — because it anchors us.

It silences fear. It reminds us that every unknown we face is already known, already handled, already conquered by God. What’s new to us is never new to Him. So we don’t have to crumble at the sight of a new obstacle. We don’t have to let our faith dip every time the wind blows. We can stand firm, remembering His faithfulness from the mountaintop to the valley.

Proverbs 3:5 calls us to it plainly:

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.”

So here’s the truth: If God brought you this far, He’s not about to abandon the work of His hands.

Walk forward with confidence.

Walk forward with expectation.

Walk forward knowing — it just might work out… because God is in it.

And when God is in it, the outcome is never in question.
